Scrying is the practise of gazing into luminous, reflective surface for the purpose of divination. Crystal Balls are one traditional tool for this. Bowls of water are another (as water reflects the collective subconscious. ) Black bowls are even better as this increases the reflective properties. Other tools for scrying are a , a mirror (preferably with black glass) and even flames. The idea is to clear your mind as much as possible and in a blank, receptive state gaze steadily into your reflection, usually into the area of your forehead between the eyes. Your success will increase with practise - typical sessions lasting from a few minutes to half an hour
